As a biller who has specialized in SimplePractice since 2020, I’m testing out a new setup for solo clinicians who want to handle their own daily billing but with an expert in their back pocket when things get messy.

Here is how it works:

The Setup: There’s an initial enrollment fee to audit your contracts and lock in your billing defaults directly in SimplePractice so claims go out clean.

The Monthly Support: From there, it’s a flat $500/month that gives you 5 hours of direct biller support each month if anything goes wrong with denials, rejections, or modifier issues.

The Dynamic: You stay in the driver's seat by pushing your claims, running ERAs, and collecting patient copays. We are in the backseat ready to jump in when you hit a roadblock.

Hours don't roll over from month to month, and any extra time past your 5 included hours is billed at a flat $50/hr.

A friend gave us tomato seeds from her yard in Oregon and they are v v v v aggressive in that every single one sprouted. So now we find ourselves both a biller and propagator of EB cherry tomatoes.

Did you catch the fine print update from BCBS MA about telehealth POS reimbursement changes? Effective 6/1/2026 there will be a difference in fee for POS 02 vs POS 10.

Tl;dr POS 02 will be reimbursed at a lower rate. Ensure you are coding accurately and not leaving money on the table 💸

Also make sure your biller is aware of such things. Billers like us who specialize in Massachusetts and just happen to have 10 openings for new FT solo providers and 2 openings for groups if you’re interested in not having to deal with this anymore 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Healthcare is weird right now. Reimbursement is weird. The economy is weird.

And by “weird” we mean absolutely terrible.

So we rebuilt our billing model to make it…well…frankly, to simplify it. I don’t want to do the pun but also I chose an effective business name so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lean in or something along those lines.

We are a mental health billing company that works primarily with solo providers and small groups based in our home state of Massachusetts.

We have recently (as of April 2026) updated our offerings and now provide flat rate subscription billing services based on practice size and complexity along with credentialing/contracting services. We are fluent in SimplePractice and TherapyNotes but can also submit claims for solo providers without an EHR through our own clearinghouse accounts.

For anyone out there searching for a Massachusetts biller, we are running a special and waiving enrollment fees for new clients that sign up by July 1, 2026 🥳
