If you're a Christian artist in today's world, it's so tempting and easy to compare yourself to others and become fixated on vanity metrics. I want to encourage you to focus on the right things that will help you have a healthy approach to your music ministry. It's about advancing God's Kingdom and leading people to Him.

Talent matters. But talent alone usually isn’t what builds a lasting career.

Most Christian artists aren’t struggling because of talent.
They’re struggling because they’re optimizing for the wrong things.

Instagram is making it clearer:
What matters isn’t just what you say
It’s whether people stay, feel something, and share it

If your content isn’t growing, check this:
• Are you losing people in the first 3 seconds?
• Are you creating anything worth sharing?
• Are you giving people something they want to come back to?

This isn’t about chasing an algorithm
It’s about stewarding attention well

Let me know in the comments what your one takeaway from this is.

You’re not struggling with consistency. You’re stuck in your head.

You overthink the content, the strategy, how you look, what people will think. So you delay, second guess, and never build momentum.

Here’s the shift:
• Block 1 hour on your calendar each week
• Treat it like a non-negotiable appointment
• Show up and record, no pressure to post
• Focus on reps, not perfection

If you do this for 30 days, you’ll likely have 8 to 16 pieces of content ready to go.

Now you’re not guessing what to post. You’re choosing from what you’ve already created.

That’s how consistency actually starts.

If you’re up for the challenge, comment “I’m in.”

Most Christian artists don’t plateau because of talent. It’s because there’s no system behind the music.

If every release feels like starting over, this is why.

A real system gives you:
• Clarity on who you’re trying to reach
• Consistency in how you show up
• Momentum that compounds over time

Without it, you’re guessing. With it, you’re building.

Here are 3 ways to start building a system:

1. Define your audience clearly. Not “everyone,” but a specific person you’re called to serve.

2. Create a repeatable release rhythm. Create a checklist template you can use for every release.

3. Build a simple content engine. Don’t reinvent, document and refine.

Growth isn’t random. It’s structured.

Follow for more strategy to help you grow with intention.
