During California's peak demand on Oct 6, 85,774 homes with Powerwalls delivered 601 MW to the grid, 932 MWh in total. The whole fleet peaked at a record 634 MW, about the output of a large power plant.
And the owners got paid for the energy they sent back. $TSLA

Powershare Feature for Powerwall
Powershare home backup functionality is now available for Powerwall 3 systems and Cybertruck.

When the Powershare feature is enabled, Cybertruck can extend the backup duration of the Powerwall 3 system by several days.

No additional equipment or wiring is needed for the Powerwall system, but please note the following requirements:

The Wall Connector breaker must be installed in the backup circuit

Wall Connector must be considered a generation source, and the site must be confirmed code compliant to enable Powershare

Powerwall 3 and Wall Connector must be on the same Wi-Fi network, and they must be registered and paired by the customer
