Today installed motorized roller shades as room divider. The material is the same on both sides, used a double valance for clean appearances from in the loft and from downstairs. Goal is to keep the heat and cold where they belong and to provide privacy for guests staying upstairs.

Lovely pergola, too much sun! Made a 50% shade cloth cover, now it's cooler and the misters are still fully exposed underneath.

This sofa seating was so deep it was uncomfortable. Adding large feather pillows serve the dual purpose of filling in the seating depth and adding a contemporary punch of color.
