We have grown to 60 full-time employees, but at our core we are still a family-owned/operated company. Our four owners (the Lange family) are still heavily involved in the day-to-day field research at all four of our field stations. Below are two photos from a recent simulated runoff study at our New York field site. Yes, that is our Director of Research - Brian Lange suited up making the backpack application and our President - Cameron Lange recording his pass times. The following day we rolled our custom-made rainfall simulator over the subplots and captured the runoff residue over a 2-hour period. The best part? We built this rainfall simulator to easily disassemble and fit into an enclosed trailer. After we completed this site our team moved to our Missouri site to replicate the trial there.

We collect leaves from the trees, run them through our mite brush, then count the number of eggs, nymphs, and mites per plot using a digital microscope.
