Hello all,

Often times we think of metal roofs as “set it and forget it.” This is not the case. Roof penetrations are almost always the first to fail. This plumbing boot seal has failed and is leaking onto the insulation and ceiling of a medical office.

On a 7-day warranty inspection in Eastport recently. This is actually not the first time that I have seen chicken bones on the roof. We turned our report into the warranty department with 50+ items in our report, but we did not include the bones as a deficiency. They can address it with the other roof items.
