Do you ever find yourself criticizing everything you do?

That is 100% me with this Youtube channel.

I'm working on my 10th video which is a huge milestone for me but all I can think about is how bad my picture looks, the weird lighting on my face from the sun, and my attempt to be entertaining is coming off cheesy.

But oh well, I can't get to 100 videos without having 10 so here is my attempt to show off my small collection of videos so I can continue to get feedback and get better each time.

We survived Disneyland!

1. We woke my 7 year old and 2 year old up at 6:30am.

2. We went to both Disneyland AND California Adventure riding classics like the Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones and newer ones like Guardians of the Galaxy (one of my new favorites) we even got the Max Pass to maximize our time with Fast Pass

3. Based on my Apple Watch I walked 22,000 steps and almost 10 miles.

4. We ended the night with the iconic fireworks show that started at 9:30pm.

By the time we got home, our kids were beyond tired. My 7 year old was crying that his legs hurt so he can’t brush his teeth and go to bed. My 2 year old overall were in good spirits until after the bath where his body shut down and we changed him with no struggle. (This is not normal for him... everything is a struggle because he is so active)

I say all this to mention, this reminds me of moments where I hit a wall in my entrepreneur journey....where I hit a new low. Where I want to cry like my 7 year old about how painful this is. Or be like my 2 year old and give up.

So how did I get through those moments?

1. Just focus on the next step and nothing else. For my 7 year old walking up the stairs, changing his clothes, brushing his teeth seemed so overwhelming when every part of his body was hurting. But we focused him on the next step. Ok. Let’s get you upstairs. You did it! Ok let’s brush your teeth. You did it!

So for me the same thing. Life doesn’t stop, life doesn’t end just because it gets hard. We just need to focus on what is the exact next step in the direction you need to head even though the goals seems miles away.

2. The other thing I would say is sometimes the situation leaves you broken. Then lean on someone else who will help you do that next step just like how I helped to change my 2 year old as he laid there like dead weight. Share with someone who will carry you to the next step.

So yes we as a family survived Disneyland. But we as a family also survived the entrepreneur journey.

This was our recent trip to Las Vegas for 5 days! And this was the first time I did not come back being super behind with my work servicing my clients. I’m not going to lie and say I never checked my phone or laptop but I can say I probably spent no more than 1 hour a day just checking and responding to messages.

This was the first time I was able to truly realize that I am not a bottle neck in my business and if I’m not in my office my business does not stop.

Wow! What a great feeling! And it gives me confidence that #1 I can work with more clients since my systems are working beautifully. And #2 tells me I should take more vacations. 😂😂😂
