PHYSICAL GAMES DESTROY DIGITAL OWNERSHIP 💿🔥

Digital-only defenders are gonna HATE this one. 😂 Physical games can be sold, traded, lent, collected, and—when the playable game is actually on the disc or cartridge and doesn’t require online authentication—publishers can’t just hit a button and erase that copy from your shelf.

Yes, servers can shut down. Online modes can disappear. Updates can stop. Some physical games require downloads. But that is NOT the same thing as claiming every physical game can simply be remotely taken away.

Physical isn’t perfect. It just gives the player something digital never will: an actual copy in your hands.

Sony says it "hears" the backlash over ending PlayStation game discs in 2028, but also says it's moving forward with the decision anyway. That's the part many gamers are focused on.
Whether you agree or disagree, one thing is clear: the conversation about game ownership isn't going away.
