Business by the Book wrapped up the season with one of our most meaningful conversations yet — an honest discussion on leadership burnout, stress, mental health, and the importance of not suffering alone.

Thank you to Jon Bird with Jon Bird Photography for capturing the day so beautifully.

Thank you to our moderator, Brandon West, for leading such a thoughtful and engaging panel discussion, and to our incredible panelists:
• Dr. Lisa Merlo Greene
• Dwain Allen
• Joe Cirulli
• Erin Green

Thank you for sharing your wisdom, experience, and practical insight with our community of leaders.

We’re also grateful to Looking4Answers for helping bring greater awareness to mental and relational health and reminding leaders that support matters.

What a strong close to this season of Business by the Book. Grateful for every leader, sponsor, volunteer, and attendee who made this year so impactful.

Recap video coming soon.

We had a strong close to our Business by the Book season this past week with an outstanding panel who shared practical advice and tools to help leaders and their staffs navigate mental health challenges in a healthier way.

We hope you left encouraged and took at least one of the next steps recommended. If you are on our email list, we will be sharing resources from the panel soon.

Several of you also expressed interest in learning more about Looking4Answers, and someone mentioned that our website was not loading properly that day. Thankfully, the issue has now been resolved, so those who would like to learn more about Looking4Answers are able to visit the site again. www.looking4answers.org

As we continue to grow, we are also looking for recommendations for someone dependable and experienced with WordPress hosting/support moving forward.

Thank you again for being part of such a meaningful season at BBB.

We’re grateful for the businesses helping make today’s Business by the Book possible 🙌

A special thank you to Sky Palms Studio for capturing today’s event—this allows us to extend the impact beyond the room.

Also, a shoutout to Clarity Wealth. Let’s be honest… finances can be one of the biggest sources of stress for leaders and teams. If that’s something you’re navigating, they’re a great resource to connect with.

Thank you as well to:
Cornerstone Academy
Through the Valley Counseling
Princess Portable Toilets

We’re grateful for partners who are investing in leaders and our community.

As we go into tomorrow’s Business by the Book, this just felt like the right reminder.

Starting with God is always the best place to start. He knows what we’re carrying and meets us right there.

And I’m so thankful He also uses people—through conversations, community, and those who are equipped to help us when we need it.

We’re going to have a real and practical conversation around leadership, stress, and burnout… because let’s be honest, leaders carry a lot.

Looking forward to being in the room with you.

Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
“Do not be anxious about anything…” – Philippians 4:6

When anxiety shows up, we don’t have to face it alone.
God is near. He listens. He cares.

Start with Him—bring your thoughts, your fears, your questions.
And if you need additional support along the way, that’s okay too.

Peace doesn’t always come by changing our circumstances…
sometimes it comes right in the middle of them.

You show up for everyone else.
Your team. Your family. Your clients.

But who is helping you stay healthy?

As leaders, we carry a lot—often silently. Stress, pressure, responsibility… and for many, it’s leading to burnout.

This upcoming Business by the Book luncheon is one of the most important conversations we’ve had.

🗓 May 6
⏰ 11:30a–1:00p
📍 Queen of Peace

We’re bringing together a panel of experts to talk about leadership, mental health, and burnout—and more importantly, what you can actually do about it.

This isn’t just awareness.
It’s practical, real, and relevant to your life and leadership.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this week on Wednesday, April 1st!

Understanding the next generation is one of the biggest leadership challenges right now. This is a conversation you don’t want to miss if you feel the gap between how we lead and how they think.

Jamie is on the front lines working with students and young professionals and will help us better understand what’s really shaping them today.

A full room of 110 leaders, a shared sense of unity, and leadership spoken from the heart.

Brandon brought so much wisdom, our volunteers served with joy, and the energy in the room was contagious.

Grateful for this community, the impact being made, and Salt Church for hosting and creating such a welcoming space for leaders to gather.

Thank you to Maria with Funnelhood for showing up and capturing the day.

✨ We are growing—and we’re grateful. ✨

We’re expecting over 100 people in attendance, and while this community will never be about numbers, it will always be about impact.

What excites us most isn’t how many gather, but what God is doing through leaders who are willing to grow, listen, and lead with purpose. That impact doesn’t stay in the room—it flows into workplaces, families, and our community.

We’re thankful for what God is building and expectant for what’s ahead.

See you all Wednesday! If you are attending, you may want to come a little early, to sign in, get your lunch and grab your seat!
