Last week in Sumner County, Tennessee, we saw what happens when policy makers, employers, school districts, and local chambers come together around a shared belief: That when we align our efforts to support students, we can connect them to real opportunity — and build stronger communities in the process.

Draft Day — led by Be Pro Be Proud Tennessee — gives students the chance to build resumes, develop interview skills, and connect with employers looking to hire for in-demand technical professions.

The results: 250+ high school students engaged. 45 live interviews with employers. 6 hired on the spot.

As part of our national partnership with Be Pro Be Proud, we are honored to bring initiatives like this to data center communities across the nation. With more than 1,000 technical roles needed to build and operate our Gallatin Data Center alone, programs like this are critical to introducing career seekers to the diverse opportunities needed to build the infrastructure of the future.

Since 2023, our partnership with Be Pro Be Proud TN has engaged 50,000+ students statewide — and we’re just getting started.

Many thanks to the leaders who brought the inaugural Draft Day to life: Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry · Sumner County Schools, Tennessee

Big news in clean energy ☀️🔋

Last week, Meta announced two partnerships pushing the boundaries of what's possible for powering AI infrastructure.

We're working with Overview Energy to bring solar power from space to Earth—satellites collecting sunlight around the clock and beaming it to solar farms on the ground. And we're partnering with Noon Energy on ultra-long-duration storage that can hold clean energy for days, not just hours.

These are the kinds of investments that help strengthen the grid and support reliable power for our data center operations here and across the country.

🌎🧊 April is Earth month — and we're proud to share a closer look at the water restoration work happening in Los Lunas.

Water is a shared and vital resource — and at Meta, our goal is to become water positive in 2030. That means restoring more water than we consume in our operations, while partnering with local communities to boost supply, enhance quality, and protect ecosystems.

In this video, our Water Program leads share what drives this work — and how projects near the Rio Grande are helping move toward that goal.

Yesterday, we announced that we’re breaking ground on our 28th U.S. Meta data center in Tulsa, Oklahoma! When coming to a new community, Meta is committed to making a positive impact by investing in local schools and nonprofits, partnering on local water restoration projects, adding energy to the grid and supporting local jobs to build and operate the data center.

We're building the future of human connection and once operational, the Tulsa Data Center will be part of the highly advanced infrastructure that helps connect billions of people around the world.

We are proud to call Oklahoma home – follow Tulsa Data Center for local updates

This week we celebrated International Data Center Day. For us, it's an opportunity to reflect on what matters most: the data center communities we call home and celebrating the people who make these communities so special.

In 2025 alone, we supported more than 430 local projects and donated over $11.8 million to schools, nonprofits, and small businesses across our 30 communities in the United States, Europe, and Asia. This is part of our long-term commitment to data center communities where since 2011, Meta has invested over $94 million in 3,700 local projects.

From supporting STEM innovation in classrooms to workforce training programs, revitalizing community parks to helping small businesses grow — we’re grateful for all the partnerships we have with local organizations that are dedicated to investing in their communities.

Fridays are our favorite day to rise and shine — especially when the Gallatin Tennessee Chamber of Commerce's Good Morning Gallatin events are in session!

The 2026 series kicked off with a great breakfast from (EPIC Event Centre) and a panel discussion with the entire Sumner County Delegation of the Tennessee General Assembly: Senator Ferrell Haile, State Representative William Lamberth, William Slater - State Representative, and Johnny Garrett for Congress.

We're honored to serve as Presenting Partners for this initiative once again and look forward to continuing to learn alongside our community.

“Plant who you are in the world, and water what you have to say." This inspiring call to action from Emily Johnson, Plant + Water with Emily, served as a heartwarming close to an afternoon spent celebrating women who put that advice into practice.

Emily, who earned the Profession Impact Award, was one of several leaders to be recognized during the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce Hendersonville, TN’s Women Impacting the Community luncheon. We were honored to serve as presenting sponsor for this event — and to have the opportunity to hear from such wise, talented ladies.

Another great example: Deb Varallo, Varallo Public Relations. Check out her “Lessons Through the Years” and share your own with us below!

Special shout-out to Sumner County’s own Holly Thompson for joining as emcee once again — her energy and enthusiasm always bring such warmth to these celebrations!

Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients and to the Hendersonville Chamber team! We love getting to support our community with you all!

February has been a month of firsts with the Gallatin Tennessee Chamber of Commerce! We were excited to join the first Chamber Luncheon of 2026 — and, even more special, the very first Chamber Luncheon ever held at The Station. When we were invited to invest in creating the Meta Collaborative Space at The Station, these are exactly the kinds of events we hoped would someday happen here. Seeing it come to life was pretty incredible.

We’re grateful to Tennessee Department of Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt for kicking off the 2026 series as our speaker. His vision for the state and our county left us inspired and looking forward to what’s ahead.

Here’s to many more moments like this, and to the continued growth of our community at The Station!
