Located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, Folded Hills Homestead, Winery and Tasting Room is our newest and most anticipated project to date. Tucked behind the coastal mountains of Santa Barbara County, we are the closest winery to the ocean and your first stop on the way to wine country. Along with raising animals, planting trees, and tending to row crops, he built a hillside vineyard and made

pre-Prohibition wine in his basement. The story is so captivating, you can feel it speak through the walls, floors, and relics left behind. The unique restoration we have completed preserves these nostalgic characteristics as well as the organic farm and trees that surround us. Folded Hills Homestead is a come-as-you-are kind of place. A place where we have serious standards when it comes to our wine, while never taking ourselves too seriously. We are thrilled to have this vineyard location to share it all with you -- the wine we make, the food we grow, the animals we raise, and the experiences behind it all.

Our favorite Friday of the month is back next week! Join us on June 26th for Philanthropy Friday, where 100% of proceeds give back all day, both online and in the tasting room. This month, we’re proud to highlight the incredible mission behind Shepherd Giving Farm, a program of Veggie Rescue 🥕 !

Nestled in the Santa Ynez River Valley, Shepherd’s Giving Farm is a 20-acre certified organic farm with a single purpose: grow food and give it all away. Every crop harvested on this land is donated to nonprofits serving families, seniors, and individuals experiencing food insecurity across Santa Barbara County through Veggie Rescue.

Plus, join us for extended hours at the Homestead Tasting Room with our Friday Golden Hour! Sip Folded Hills wines, enjoy light bites and listen to live music by Jineanne 🦋.

To our Folded Hills members: we are thrilled to share our Summer wines with you!

There is never a dull moment at Folded Hills, and this summer is no exception. Your allocation is full of tried and true favorites, new wines and even a library gem. I am biased but this might be our most exciting allocation ever. Folded Hills wines have always been made to share and pair. Our motto, “Drink the Farm”, is all about the healthier way we make wine. Angela’s hands off approach to winemaking starts on the vines.

Did you know that the wine industry is allowed 76 commercial additives to a bottle of wine? We do things the hard way, growing organically and biodynamically, so you can feel just as good about what’s in your glass of Folded Hills wine as you do about the food you put on your table.

We make wines that WE want to drink, that we are proud to serve, and that we feel privileged to get to share with you. Check out the descriptions in your summer insert for ideas on how to pair and serve some of these new wines. You may have noticed that we are pairing experiences with some of the wine releases as well. We hope you will join us for one of our many events or simply let us spoil you for a tasting at the Estate. I promise it’s worth the trip.
