For 25 years, I lived for the thrill of the game, coaching college football for hours on end—60-hour weeks that led me away from what truly mattered. I wanted to be there for my daughter, Reagan, to watch her grow and to shape her into the woman God wants her to be. I also wanted to be the father she deserves and a better husband to Marissa, who deserved more support from me than what she was getting. And let's not forget being more present for my aging parents. I missed a lot of moments and milestones, all to serve a calling I believed in.
