We are a Mural Company, a all-In-One Print Company, a Graphic Design Company and now a Creative Classroom open to the Public where you can join friends & family while creating arts & crafts for entertainment. Black, owner of A Color Affair, creates Custom Murals, Window Paintings, Graphic Design and Signs for commercial and residential clients.

Today we're hanging out at the 2026-2027 Butler County Schools System Institute Event at Greenville High School as part of the BCSS Vendor Showcase!

It's been pretty neat walking through the event because not only do we have a booth, but we also had the opportunity to digitally design, print, and produce all of the event's printed materials. Everywhere we turn, there's something we created.

It's kind of like walking through our own museum... 😂

For this week's Throwback Thursday, we're going back 14 years!

Back in the summer of 2012, I spent the entire summer painting this mural—with a little help from our kids along the way. The goal was to transform a long, ordinary hallway into a colorful little town that looked like it came straight out of a cartoon.

Looking back at projects like this always reminds me how much I've grown as an artist. Like everyone else, I see old photos and videos of my work and can't help but think about how far I've come. At the same time, it makes me excited about how much there still is to learn and create.

Every mural, every sign, every project has been another step in the journey, and I'm grateful for every one of them.

Another new mural is complete at Georgiana School! This is a project that has been years in the making, and we were thrilled to finally bring it to life.

Because Georgiana School serves elementary, middle, and high school students on one campus, this area of the media center was designed with the youngest learners in mind. Inspired by Ms. Morgan's vision, the mural celebrates the power of a child's imagination and encourages students to dream, explore, and let their creativity soar.

We hope this space becomes a place where young minds are inspired every day, and we can't wait to see the students enjoy it for years to come!

Just a few of the projects that have kept us busy this summer!

* Painting a logo update (changing Technical to Community)
* Sketching 20 canvases for a Bible study paint party
* Installing printed vinyl graphics for three amazing local businesses:
• JG's Ice Creams – Evergreen
• Georgiana Hardware – Georgiana
• JM Wholesale – Greenville

And that's just a small sample of what we've been working on.

From custom signs and murals to vinyl graphics, artwork, event displays, and so much more—we truly do a little bit of everything. Every project is different, and that's exactly what we love.
