While this post may not come to a surprise for most, we have officially decided to close the business.
“Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Mark 8:34-36 NLT
Over the last 2 years I have felt a deeper call to be somewhere else. I was not sure exactly where or what that may have looked like. I just knew the time, energy and resources that the business was taking from my family far outweighed the monetary growth.
God knows his daughter all too well and knew I would need some time to come to the realization of what He was asking of me.
While I am absolutely honored and I have always adored all of my customers who supported me over the years- I am stepping back into a path I feel is better for us.
I’ll speak real for a moment .. I was trading $1000, $2000, $300, $50.. for the moment to sow seeds of faith, love, kindness, to sow the seeds of God in my own children.
By the end of the year, I had nothing to show for it but experiences and money. But yet, you can’t take that to heaven, can you.
Some of you on my personal page have already seen, my husband and I have taken on more responsibility within our church community. When God called this transition I was unsure of many things. But I knew I would regret it if I didn’t listen.
One thing I was not prepared for was the amazing experiences of fellowship, of faith, of trails, but mostly of how deep my relationship with God was about to become.
And guess what? That IS something that will last myself and my kids a lifetime.
So while it is bittersweet, we close with joy and love.
On that note- we will be selling a large portion of my soaping supplies. If anyone is interested- shoot me a message!
