🎪 FEATURE #7: IOT RIDE SENSOR MONITORING

A ride can look perfectly fine from the ground and still be telling you that something needs attention.

IoT Ride Sensor Monitoring gives operators one place to watch the health of connected equipment. Each sensor reports readings such as battery level, temperature, or another configured measure. You set the normal range and alert threshold for that sensor, then Midway World keeps the history and flags readings that need a closer look.

The workflow is simple: open the monitoring view, check active alerts, review the reading history, and assign the follow-up to the right crew member. When a sensor battery starts dropping or a reading moves outside its normal range, the team sees it before the issue becomes a surprise during opening checks.

Picture a busy Saturday morning. A ride sensor reports an unusual reading before guests arrive. The maintenance lead investigates, finds a loose connection, and fixes it while the ride is still safely offline. That is a much better outcome than discovering the problem after the crowd is waiting.

🎪 FEATURE #4: DIGITAL PASSPORT & CHALLENGES

A great midway visit should feel like an adventure, not a checklist of everything you missed.

Digital Passport & Challenges gives guests a reason to explore the whole lot. Instead of visiting one favorite ride and heading home, guests can collect digital stamps by checking in at attractions, food stands, games, and special experiences. Operators can create challenges, set the required stops, and attach a reward when a guest completes one.

Here is how it works: a guest opens the passport, chooses a challenge, then visits each listed stop. At every attraction, they check in and watch their progress fill. Once the final stamp is collected, the reward is ready to claim.

Picture a family arriving early. They complete a “See, Taste, Play” challenge by riding the carousel, trying a new food stand, and winning a game. The family gets a reward — and three different parts of the midway get traffic.

That is better than paper punch cards that get lost, or hoping guests discover the quieter attractions by accident.

🎪 FEATURE #3: RIDE MANUALS & SAFETY LIBRARY

Every ride on your lot came with a manual. Where is yours right now — a binder in a trailer? A PDF on somebody's laptop? Lost somewhere between two shows?

Midway World gives every ride a permanent home: the Ride Manuals & Safety Library. Setup and teardown instructions, safety systems, maintenance tips, operating notes, transport requirements, capacity and height requirements — all attached to the ride they belong to, not to a person.

Each ride carries its own inspection history too: dated checklists with photos, overall notes, and follow-up flags, so the next inspection never starts from scratch. And when a ride's status changes, you can see when it changed and why.

🎪 FEATURE #2: CONCESSIONS HUB + ONE-CLICK MENU IMPORT

A busy midway can have dozens of food stands, each with its own menu, prices, ingredients, and restock needs. The Concessions Hub brings that information into one place — and the menu import means you do not have to type every item by hand.

Here is the simple flow: export your menu as a CSV from Square, Toast, Shopify, Google Sheets, or wherever you keep it. Drag the file into Midway World. The system recognizes your columns, brings in the items, and gives you a clean menu to review. From there, add unit costs, set par levels, and keep an eye on what needs to be restocked at each stand.
