Here's a design flaw hiding in plain sight: conventional MC cartridges are only perfectly aligned when no tracking force is applied. The moment the stylus meets the groove, the angles between magnetic circuit, coils, and core shift out of alignment, restricting resolution, tracking, and dynamics.
