Bagwell Tree Service(NOW HIRING!) – Crew Member (Leadership Track)

Bagwell Tree Service is hiring a crew member with the potential to grow into a crew foreman within 6 months and operations management within 1–2 years.
This role involves tree removal, trimming, equipment operation, debris management, and job site organization. The right person will learn our systems, work safely, and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Work is year-round. During the winter months the crew performs snow removal and equipment maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist with tree removals and trimming
• Operate equipment including skid steers, chainsaws, stump grinders, and trucks
• Load and haul brush, logs, and debris
• Maintain organized and safe job sites
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and communicate with crew members
• Assist with trailers, hauling, and landfill runs
During winter months:
• Assist with snow plowing and snow removal operations
• Maintain equipment and trucks
As experience grows, responsibilities may include:
• Leading small crews on job sites
• Organizing workflow and equipment
• Training new crew members
• Assisting with job planning and scheduling
Required Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong reliability and attendance
• Ability to work safely around equipment and power tools
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
• Chainsaw experience
• Skid steer or equipment operation
• Mechanical ability or equipment maintenance experience
• Experience towing trailers
• CDL or willingness to obtain one
