The many spaces of The Archive: previously a post-office-courthouse-combo (yes, they were in the same building!) now apartments, postal+ justice themes were enmeshed for branded corridor and amenity art.

All corridor stamp pieces include a ‘4 cents’ label, which was the cost to mail a letter in 1959 when the original building was built.

Last month, we wrapped our work on The Archive, a one-of-a-kind apartment structure in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Previously a Post Office and Federal Courthouse, (at the same time!) this unique building stood as a pillar of civic life for generations, and will now continue on its next chapter.

Ever wonder what becomes of those designs that never see the light of day? How often they become the favorite.

This pattern, a compilation of gestural pencil marks, was originally created for a music artist in Nashville and now rests in our creative archive.

We looooove a process that requires pen(cil) and paper, a solid story, and rolled up sleeves. We also love the explorations that eventually get us *there*
