Proud to have Rocky Mountain Arboricultural Consulting participate in the Saluting Branches event today at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Great day working alongside other arborists and tree care professionals, volunteering our time and skills to care for the trees throughout the cemetery.

Pretty cool to see our industry come together to give back and honor the men and women who served our country. Proud to be a part of it!

Nature can be brutal! I caught these yellowjackets feeding on a cicada while it was still emerging from its exoskeleton. Talk about bad timing!

From the ground, this catalpa still has a full canopy and appears to be doing well.

A closer inspection tells a different story.

Large cavities and internal decay were found in major scaffold limbs. This is a good reminder that trees can look healthy from a distance while having significant structural concerns.

Professional tree assessments help identify issues such as decay, cavities, cracks, poor branch attachments, root concerns, insect/disease problems, and overall tree risk.

Don’t wait until a tree fails to find out there was a problem!

Trees are not just part of the background.
They are living protection for every breath we take.

They cool our neighborhoods, clean the air, reduce flooding, protect wildlife, and make life possible for countless species — including us.

When forests disappear, the world becomes hotter, quieter, and harder to survive in.

A tree is not “just a tree.”
It is shade during heat, shelter during storms, a home for birds and pollinators, and one of nature’s greatest gifts to life on Earth.

Protecting trees is not only about saving wildlife.
It is about protecting our future too.
