🙏 Now is the time for us to pray. Pray for healing. Pray for peace. Pray that our children are well.
“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” – Jeremiah 33:6

🕊 Remembering and Praying Together

Today we pause to remember the lives lost 24 years ago in the attacks of September 11, 2001. We also lift up in prayer all those impacted by the tragedies of yesterday.

In moments like these, Scripture reminds us that our response should not be retaliation, but prayer, peace, and love. As Romans 12:17-18 says: “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

And we cling to God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Let us come together as a community of faith - to honor the past, comfort those hurting now, and choose love over hate. May the peace of Christ fill our hearts as we continue to pray for healing in our world.
