Some families leave a little piece of their heart with you during a family photo shoot. ❤️

Recently, I had the incredible honor of gifting a family session to a beautiful family who is walking through an incredibly difficult season together.

Kristin is currently battling cancer, and when I offered to photograph their family, my hope was simply to give them a few moments to slow down, be together, laugh, love on one another, and create photographs they can hold onto for years to come.

What happened was so much more beautiful than I could have imagined.

These photographs aren't about Kristin's battle with cancer. They're about love. They're about a husband and wife, two daughters, a mama who is deeply loved, and the beautiful family they've created together.

I am so grateful I was able to give them this little gift, and even more grateful that they trusted me to capture these moments.

Youth sports brings many kinds of families together. I am fortunate that my children’s sport brought this soccer family into ours. We have tried for almost 2 years to do updated photos but between sports, kids, and life it’s taken us a while 🤪
So glad we got this done before their oldest graduates high school this year!
