Vacuum Policy Change:

As of October 1, 2026 will no longer be carrying vacuums in our cleaning kits! We are asking ALL of our Clients to please purchase an “Upright, with canister, with wand feature, for hardwood and carpet” for their home.

Shark or Dyson is preferred. I CAN SEND LINKS if you don’t know what to buy! 🤍

Our reasons:

1️⃣ Shark does not make vacuums like they used to. They nixxed the best features that was actually helpful to House Cleaners. The vacuums available on the market today are not house cleaner friendly, and they haven’t been

2️⃣ Due to #1 changing; we cannot properly clean the vacuums like we once were able to. We used to be able to disassemble the vacuums down into small parts. Now there isn’t a single part of the bottom assembly we can take apart to deep clean. It’s literally impossible to clean the internal parts

3️⃣ Health and sanitation issues. Cross contamination issues. We have grown to appreciate “germs staying with germs” 🦠

4️⃣ Talking about germs — we get sick A LOT, and we are trying to stay healthier. We do feel this will help us not get sick as often

5️⃣ This is also our way to avoid raising prices! Good quality vacuums are over $400 EACH. In the last 6 years of cleaning, we have purchased somewhere between 40 - 60 vacuums. Some of these vacuums don’t even give us 6 months of life, and they’re just not worth it professionally cleaning. We are cleaning for 8+ hours some days and they’re simply not designed for this usage

6️⃣ Pets! We have taken on more Clients lately that are allergic to pets! We have no pet homes with severe allergies, and then we have mini inside zoo’s 😅🤣 No matter how strong our air compressor is— the dust residue is always there in the filters, and our vacuums can even take on pet smells. It’s a no bueno situation

What to look for in a vacuum purchase:
• Upright vacuum with canister (not a stick)
• Switch option for carpet or hardwood
• Must have detachable wand
• No bag filters
• No pull behind canisters
• No rainbow vacuums

Please don’t purchase a pull behind canister vacuum or rainbow vacuum. We will not use these. We would spend more time fighting with these two types of vacuums than we could spend cleaning 🧼

I’m not quite sure how to say thank you for your support, to where when you’re reading this, you actually hear my gratitude behind my thank you.

My last post was my literal attempt to be transparent with our suck. I have come to learn that the hardest part about being a ‘not so small anymore’ business owner isn’t starting the business, isn’t being in business- those are the easy parts.

The hardest part is staying in business through all of your seasons. Specifically the hard personal seasons. Losing a parent, rocked our world. There was multiple moves in there too. Many out of state trips. Many life happenings for Kristina.

All this to say, thank you.

God has blessed us with an unexpected new hire that we have high hopes for, and I know she has high hopes for working with us too. I didn’t expect for my inbox to flood with resumes but it did. (If I have not gotten back with you, I will. I currently have over 60 messages/ emails/ texts to respond to)

We chose honesty, called upon the Lord, and boy did he move! We have had strangers, Clients, family, friends— all praying for us, and that has really impacted me this weekend. Thank you for your prayers! 🤍

Aubrie and I will be cleaning her new schedule this week. We do have a few spots left for recurring Clients on her schedule before she’s maxxed out and I’ll need to hire again!

Hey everyone, I’m sorry for the gap in my communication. I’ve taken these last many months to pray, deliberate, digest, and form a plan on what I’m going to do. 🥺🤍

I’m going to go with “honesty is the best policy” — There are many of you in my inbox waiting for a response back from me.

Right now I cannot take on new Clients. Kristina and I are at maximum capacity, and I cannot find a Cleaner(s) to help Kristina and I carry our current Client load.

I’ve hired 8+ people this year and none of them have stuck around. Since I hired Kristina 4 years ago, we have cycled through ‼️ over 50 employees ‼️ and less than 3 have stuck around for one year’s time.

People go through the hiring process, say they’ll show up to work, and don’t. Or quit within the first several days. We haven’t been able to find reliability in anyone, and that’s directly affecting everyone. It’s limiting our business. It’s killing our business. Kristina is working from burn out with her mental health suffering. I am in survival mode always late to my messages and correspondences. Something has to give or it’s truly going to take us out. (Prayers appreciated)

Unfortunately I hate to say it, but we will be reaching out to some of our current Clients asking them to find a replacement Cleaner. This kills me to say, literally. We have a large handful of Clients who have been with us for the last 2-5 years, and what we are experiencing has never happened before.

Without more employees to help us carry our Client load we just cannot offer consistency at this stage of trials we are facing/ weathering.

If we cannot find more team members that will help us take care of everyone we are facing future closure, and at the bare minimum temporarily a drastic reduction in capacity; due to lack of team members and this economy

We don’t want to raise prices. This economy has gotten a little ridiculous for all of us. We don’t want to be the company who is constantly fluctuating cost and getting to a point of “price gouging” because that’s what everyone else is doing.

We do however NEED employees! Our Clients NEED someone to show up and take care of their families! They need consistency, they need communication, they need taken care of!

It’s so crazy to me that people don’t recognize the freedom working for a small company offers. The hours are there. The money is there. The flexibility is there. Our Clients tip well. You don’t work holidays. You’re not micromanaged. It’s literally the BEST job! 🔥

Mom’s looking for a part time — drop your kids off at school, go clean one house a day, go pick your kids up from school, and go have a great evening with your family. We make it that simple here! I will train you myself!

If you’ve read this far we could use prayer. Our business could use prayer. Pray for us that the Lord sends us help. We do not want to close our doors, but we are merely two people trying to care for over 60+ Clients. Our bandwidth and capacity are shot and we really need the help. We need some rockstars in here.

Clients— Thank you, thank you, thank you for your grace and mercy as we have weathered through multiple employees quitting with no notice. You guys ARE rockstars, and Kristina and I appreciate you.

For Aaron’s Clients — Aaron is still rocking and rolling out in the field. He’s in your homes every day and we appreciate your repeat business. Aaron is killing it, and won’t be going anywhere. IF, IF… we end up having to do something different with Mom Maid — we will branch Aaron off into his own LLC so he can keep walking in his calling. 🫶 He won’t be going anywhere 🤍

•Must be able to clean in the Middlebury, Goshen, Elkhart, Mishawaka, South Bend areas! Avg 25 - 35 hours week! I have regulars that need a consistent Cleaner

•Cleans always start at 9 AM and we do two houses a day, meaning you’re off work between 3-5 PM

•Starting pay will be $17/HR and given a raise when you go solo in the field. Weekly pay. W2 Position. No insurance. You receive 100% of your tip and trip money!

•Training can start as early as this Monday

A message from Jasmine:

We are a small company that offers big impact to the Clients we serve and caretake for! We are looking for healthy team members! We constantly check our heart postures, have our heads on correctly, and do what we do because we care. I need someone emotionally aware to reciprocate this as well.

Yes cleaning is satisfying, but that is not a good enough “why” to choose to be a House Cleaner. We grow with our families, go through hard seasons with them, and take care of them! It’s not “just cleaning”. That’s the bare minimum.

We need someone who is going to actually stick around, show up to work when they’re supposed to, and have a good heart while doing it! The pay will reflect your work ethic and morals! Ask anyone, I’m not stingy with money.

In the last 4 years I’ve hired OVER 40 people, and only 2 have stuck around longer than 1 calendar year. Our Clients don’t deserve to be dicked around on like this. Kristina and I are only two people, and Aaron works the load of 3.

We need more long term team members! This job is truly amazing and we’re ready for people to see the value like we do! 🔥

I am so sorry if you’ve been waiting to hear back from me for scheduling!

Unfortunately I have been in the hospital and multiple urgent cares trying to figure out what has been wrong with me. Apparently there are a plethora of new viruses making their rounds, and I somehow contracted a virus that gave me Colitis.
