'Encino Man' has to be on the list. I'm sure we've all quoted this movie at some point or another - likely even recently. Released in 1992, the film starred Sean Astin, Brendan Fraser, Pauly Shore, and a strong supporting cast.

The movie begins with a caveman and his cave lady struggling to stay warm during the ice age. After an earthquake triggers a cave-in, they're buried and frozen. Fast-forward to 1992. When Dave Morgan is digging a pool in his backyard, he uncovers a large ice block, which he stores in his garage. The next day, Dave returns home from school with his friend Stoney to find the smoke alarm blaring and a caveman attempting to start a fire - just as he was doing before getting buried.

They name him Link, referencing "the missing link," clean him up, and enroll him in school, teaching him the ways of a teenager. 'Encino Man' was a box office success, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. Personally, I've never met someone who doesn't love this movie. If I have, I've probably erased that memory from my mind!
