When Analeigh reached out telling me she wouldn’t be walking in her ceremony (it’s in CO) but still wanted pictures. There was zero hesitation from me. It was my absolute honor to capture her in her cap, gown, hood, and tassels.

While I’m here, this session deserves its spot in the grid too— for obvious reasons. ✨

Laurel is one of my closest and oldest friends. So when I suggested our property for photos and she agreed, I was absolutely delighted!

And, our property absolutely SERVED.

This golden hour session is everything I want when you say “hey, can we do our family photos in the fall?” The sun, the trees, the colors… and 3 little girls with enough personality to have their own TV show. 😂

I’m always so grateful when people trust the process during their sessions. Even if it is “hey, you wanna hold this pumpkin?” to a little girl who is very, very excited about the pumpkins.

A short list of things I love:
• courthouse weddings
• grooms who love their bride so hard
• a sentimental, supportive FOB

It’s uncommon for me to come out of wedding retirement, but I’m SO glad I did for this one. Aki & Ben are some of the kindest souls I’ve met and it’s apparent they’re that way because their tribe is a tribe of the kindest souls I’ve ever encountered.

Photographing them was easy; too easy. So easy their wedding preview contained 83 images. 😂

And then there’s just something magical about a wedding in winter and so close to the holidays. ✨

Aki & Ben: thank you for trusting me with your wedding! It was truly a once in a lifetime day that even I will never forget. 💕

Maternity sessions can be so hard on new moms; I prefer for them to not be, and to be absolutely effortless. 💕

Mak hasn’t had the easiest pregnancy so when she asked for 2 things: wildflowers & to edit out her heart rate monitor I told her done and done. We did a sunrise session near Gun Lake and it couldn’t have been more perfect. And it brings me such an abundance of joy when dad is equally as excited. Seeing Jordan absolutely BEAM was priceless.

I’ve known Mak since she was in highschool, so it has been magical to see her graduate, get married, and now welcome her daughter into the world.

Emma brought so much fun energy to our shoot by letting her guard down and just being her fun, zesty self. Each outfit she came out wearing got better and better! Can we get a moment for those boots? 👏 My girl was serving up laughs and *smizes* the whole session and I was living for it!

• Jenn’s Rehearsal Dinner •

Large family photo sessions can be tricky; thankfully I have over 10yrs of experience capturing them and capturing them quickly.

Jenn got married this weekend and asked me if I could come for the rehearsal dinner to do a mini session. I said absolutely- especially knowing her dad’s health struggles. See, Jenn and I used to be neighbors when we both owned our condos. We were the youngest people in the whole complex, so we instantly connected on that aspect alone. But as of yesterday, she has a new last name and as of Friday, we both no longer live on Melvin St.

So happy for her and all the amazing things going on in her life. 💕
