Family - Had back to back great days! Yesterday evening my wife and I saw one of the best I’ve watched in a very long time /“We Grown Now” I sat there speechless after the film. This is a film for solo or with family. Storytelling and cinematography that transported you - it was beautiful.

Then this morning, our son, Brandon Skot Welch, and I went to an morning experience at Grand Rapids Art Museum where we were treated to a curated tour of the new exhibit by artist Mario Moore moderated by the artist himself. Mario’s talent of both his storytelling ability and his mastery of painting, silverpoint pencil sketching and sculpture is a rarity - we will be going again. You really have to see it in person. Wow.

We finished the afternoon with a delicious visit to my friend, Ace Marasigan and his lovely family’s - Jackie and Redd - new restaurant Adobo Boy GR - Filipino Food - I’m SO glad that this new edition to GR is here. You could taste the love in the dish. Can’t wait to head back there.

A great film camp for an amazing group of young people.

Hello GBB Friends - I hope you are well! I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for purchasing either one or both of my two recently published books: “101 Ways to Enjoy The Mosaic” written to diversity and inclusion leaders of all kinds as well a my book, “Plantation Jesus”, written to those of the faith community and who are lovers of history - particularly American Church history. I truly appreciate your support for making these books a part of your own “story”. I am also glad to say that I have just submitted my chapter outline for my third nationally published book - title is TBD. Thanks to Our Daily Bread Ministries for joining with me in this important work which includes a book, a series of small film vignettes, a curriculum with certifications, a musical soundtrack and a conference.
