His mom loves his business idea. His ferret would like to meet a paying customer. 😂

You don’t need a huge launch to take your idea seriously.

Start small: offer a simple version of your product or service to potential customers and find out whether they’ll pay for it. Use what you learn to decide your next step.

What business have you been thinking about starting?

09/06/2026

Have you ever had a business idea you were excited about, then started thinking about everything you would need to figure out? Suddenly, it feels like a much bigger thing. 😊

That is what I’m working through at the board in this video.

You do not have to answer every question at once. Start with one thing you need to learn, then find a small way to explore it.

If you were thinking about helping people organize their garages, for example, you could ask a few people what makes the job difficult. Is it finding the time? Deciding what to keep? Knowing where to start? Their answers could change what you offer.

And when you are ready to try a small paid service, pay attention to who actually books, along with what people say. Both can teach you something.

I walk through an example in “How to Test Your Business Idea Before You Build It.” If you have an idea tucked away, I hope it gives you a place to start.

What is something you would love to try, but haven’t quite figured out yet?
