When God becomes small in our thinking, we often make ourselves too big or too insignificant. A right view of ourselves begins with a right view of God.

We will struggle with Spiritual Maturity , if we still suffer from emotional immaturity……..

God has a promise in His Word that He heals the brokenhearted binding all their wounds ( Psalm 147:)

The most brokenhearted events take place in childhood when our hurts & pain are not tended to properly.

If you struggle with understanding ask the Lord :

Psalm 139:23-24
New International Version
23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Anyone can say the right things. Character gives those words credibility.

When your actions consistently reflect your values, people no longer have to rely only on what you say. They can trust what they have seen you live.

The strongest message is one supported by example.

Parenting God’s way……

If, as parents, we focus our thoughts on our children and their choices, we will trap ourselves in fear and despair. But if we redirect those thoughts to faith in God, to His character and His power, we will be buoyed by hope.

Our children’s salvation never depended on us; the glorious news that gives us hope is that our prodigals’ return doesn’t depend on us either. God has many ways and many workers to bring His children home to himself. It is our right and privilege to pray with hope and expectation while simultaneously allowing God to choose His preferred method to win our kids back — or win them for the first time.

You’ll never be alone in this battle. You’re partnering with the God of the universe who is more than capable of making up for what you lack and rebuilding what has been torn down.
