🌟Last week members of our club attended the Venture Club of Indianapolis monthly luncheon where our members had the opportunity to network with CEOs, CFOs, Investors, and Venture Club Board Members. Connections were formed with the CEO of Trek Partner’s Investment Bank, CFO of High Alpha, and more! This was an amazing opportunity to learn all about the experiences of successful individuals and ask questions!
🌟Additionally, we had the privilege of listening to Jon Gilman speak all about market timing and exit strategy, the pivotal role that investors, bankers and lawyers play in M&A, aling with the unexpected challenges he faced along the way.
🌟Finally, we connected with IU, Purdue, and Marian University’s entrepreneurship groups to learn more about the initiatives they are implementing within their campus!

You will have to hold the attention of the room throughout your presentation, let’s become a storyteller and frame your business idea and statistical numbers as a story, creating more of an impact with your ideas and passion for your business.

Your idea is becoming clearer, firmer, and much more complete. So,... what’s next?

After “Creating a Lean Canvas for your idea” and going through tons of “Market Validation”, your idea now is really amazing with practical and technology-savvy solutions. Your product or service is truly outstanding and will certainly meet the current needs of the world.

⁉️ However, how to PITCH YOUR IDEA for investors to see how they can trust in your product and for customers to see why they have to buy it? ⁉️

For any start-up business, if you want to successfully run and sell your product, you have to know how to pitch your business idea to attract investors into funding your company. What are methods, which are unknown to many people but employed by the unicorn start-ups daily, to instill commercial values into your idea and turn it into a best-seller?

It all first starts from working on the concept. Before entering the rigorous production process, you need to ensure customers like what you are going to invest in. Ask them about the problems they encounter with the existing items having similar identification with yours, then ponder the question ‘if’ to see how they react to the solution you propose. Now, you can figure out the predominant preferences acting as a guideline for further development.

Business analytics issues various aspects of marketability, such as finance, sales, operation,.., that accounts for the validation of the product. In many cases, excellent ideas jeopardize the pricing process as companies ignore the target customers’ buying power. Tips that are more valuable than money!!!

How good is your ability to sell a product? Your pitch is inevitable proof.

Firms can share great stories about themselves beyond the commercial values of their products or services. Pitch presentation should also be an appealing portrait of the entrepreneurial team as well as the vision they hold for the company’s future.
There is no such a fixed design for creating a good pitch but there is a secret formula that can help enhance a pitch from good to great. So please keep in mind the key takeaway tips we are going to share with you now.

Pithy.

Don’t try to lengthen your speech. The more you speak of your values, the less engaged and curious your listeners turn out to be.
Preparing yourself with a well-planned list of bullets effectively boosts your confidence on stage. Visual aids such as infographics or animation stimulate the audience to be attracted by the ideas being sold.

Truthful.

Overstated market potentials are easy to be perceived as lie-tellings.
Investors usually make up their minds when seeing transparent business reports. For many of them, numbers speak louder than words. Even though this might seem intimidating for young entrepreneurs, facing the fear is the only way for them and their business to grow simultaneously.

Straightforward.
