This morning’s outage was not a planned outage. A squirrel caused damage to our electrical system, resulting in an outage that affected a three-phase circuit serving customers in the area.

Customers on and around Irish Street, E. McKee Street, Bernard Avenue, Main Street, and S. Main Street were impacted.

Due to the damage, our crews had to make repairs and restore multiple pieces of electrical infrastructure across several phases of the circuit. Our team worked quickly and safely to identify the damage, complete the necessary repairs, and restore service to all affected customers.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while our crews worked to get every customer restored.
