Announcement for nonprofits!
Interested in getting grants for your organization, but don't know where to start? Have annual revenue or expenses less than $1M? Well I have good news for you! There is currently a great opportunity to get free access to one of the most comprehensive grant databases available!
Candid is offering a discount for a free year subscription to their grant database, the Foundation Directory! All you have to do is go to https://app.candid.org/ claim your Candid profile for your nonprofit and update it with all of the required information to receive the Gold Seal of Transparency!
Candid is a great resource for nonprofits, as it streamlines grant research with its comprehensive list of search filters and lists of prior grants from grantmakers. As a grant consultant, I've looked through hundreds of 990 forms to try to find the right grant opportunities for the nonprofits I help. However, with Candid's Foundation Directory, all of the relevant information is readily available as soon as you click on a grantmaker's profile!
I have included directions to receive the gold transparency seal, as well as the bronze and silver transparency seals needed before you can reach gold.
Estimated time to update information:
Bronze Seal of Transparency: 15 minutes
Silver Seal of Transparency: 5 minutes
Gold Seal of Transparency: 10 minutes
After receiving the Gold Seal you will be given a discount for a free year subscription to the Foundation Directory under the Seal Benefits section on the upper-right side of the screen!
