Ever spend an entire day on a task that should’ve taken an hour? 😅

Parkinson’s Law might explain that one.

These five principles put a name to familiar frustrations: stretched deadlines, misunderstood instructions, and hard work that doesn’t translate into progress.

One change to try this week: give that task you keep postponing a clear, realistic deadline.

Which of the five hits closest to home for you?

We put The Millionaire Next Door in “SKIP.” Let’s hear it. 👀📚

Five popular money books. Three verdicts: READ, STUDY, or SKIP. A bestseller badge doesn’t automatically make a book worth your time. Here’s where we’d spend ours.

Which ranking did we get wrong, and what book should we rate next? Tell us below. 👇

It’s rarely the $7 coffee that keeps people broke. It’s the financial decisions they normalize because they can “afford the payment.”

A big purchase isn’t automatically a bad decision. The problem starts when lifestyle becomes more important than financial stability.

The car you technically qualify for.
The apartment you want people to see.
The degree without a clear return.
The wedding you’re still paying for years later.
Before asking “Can I afford this?”, ask:

“Will this purchase make my financial life stronger, or just make my lifestyle look better?”

Small expenses get blamed a lot. Big recurring commitments deserve more attention.

Most of us grew up hearing the same financial rule: “Avoid debt.”

And there’s some wisdom behind that, especially when we're talking about high-interest consumer debt like credit cards.

But financial decisions aren't always that simple.

Not every loan has the same cost, purpose, or impact on your finances. Some forms of debt may be used to acquire assets, fund opportunities, or strategically deploy capital—depending on how they're structured and managed.

That’s why understanding good debt vs. bad debt matters.

Instead of asking, “Is debt bad?” maybe the better question is:
“What is this debt doing for me, and what is it costing me?”

What's your view? Should people avoid debt altogether, or does the type and purpose of the debt matter?

A high income can create the appearance of wealth. But financial strength comes from what happens after the money comes in.

The real question isn’t just “How much do you make?”

It’s “How much control do you have over the money you make?”
Can you handle an unexpected expense without taking on more debt?
Can you access capital without putting everything you own at risk?
Can your money continue working even when your income changes?

Income gives you capacity.
A strong financial system gives you options.
And having options is one of the most underrated forms of wealth.

You don’t have to build wealth overnight. You just have to avoid quitting before compounding has time to work.

There will be years when progress feels slow. Markets will move against you. Other people will seem ahead.

That doesn’t mean the strategy isn’t working.

Keep learning. Keep saving. Keep making good decisions. Stay in the game.

Because sometimes the biggest advantage you can have is simply time.

Infinite Banking can be used to finance a real estate renovation, and in this episode, we break down exactly how we used cash value to renovate a rental property.

We take you inside a real rental property renovation in Greer, South Carolina, and show you how cash value from a whole life insurance policy was used to help fund the upgrades.

The property needed significant work, including a new shower, kitchenette, flooring, closets, windows, plumbing, electrical work, and more. The goal wasn't simply to renovate the house; it was to create a usable downstairs living space that could generate rental income.

We also explain how policy loans work, why the money was borrowed in stages, how the loan is treated within the policy, and why the strategy includes paying capital back into the system.

Debt doesn’t usually feel expensive at first.

It’s the small monthly payments that quietly stack up, until a bigger portion of your income is already committed before you even get paid.

The goal isn’t to avoid financing everything. It’s to understand what your debt is actually doing for you.

Is it helping you build an asset, grow your business, or create future income?
Or is it simply making today more affordable at the expense of tomorrow?

Before taking on the next payment, look beyond the monthly number. Look at the total cost, and what that money could be doing instead.

Life insurance isn’t only about what happens after you die. 👀

Certain permanent life insurance policies can build cash value that you may be able to access while you’re alive through withdrawals or policy loans.

Would you use life insurance differently if you knew how?
