Summer garage reset complete ☀️🚗

Another garage transformed by The Harmonized Nest — and this one was especially meaningful to our team.

Our client loves decorating for every season and holiday, so we created clear zones and easy-to-maintain systems that make it simple to locate and rotate décor throughout the year without digging through piles or overflowing bins.

One of the most meaningful details of this project was being able to commemorate her late husband by hanging his favorite Carhartt coat and headphones exactly where he would have left them himself. ❤️

Sometimes organizing is about more than creating tidy spaces. It’s about creating peace, preserving memories, and creating systems that support your life and home through every season.

One of the best things we ever added to our backyard? A mud kitchen for our boys 🤎

This wasn’t about adding more “stuff.” It was about creating a space that invites imagination, creativity, independence, and good old-fashioned mess.

Mud pies, water play, sticks, leaves, “recipes,” neighborhood friends… this little setup has given our boys hours of outdoor play and some of our favorite family memories.

As a mom—and as the founder of The Harmonized Nest—I believe our homes should support real life. Not just organized closets and pretty pantries… but spaces that encourage connection, creativity, and childhood.

Sometimes the best systems in a home aren’t inside the home at all.

This playroom + arts & crafts reset wasn’t about buying more bins, more baskets, or more “stuff.”

It was about the PURGE. 👏

✔ Toys that were no longer serving this family? Edited.
✔ Duplicates? Gone.
✔ Broken, outgrown, forgotten items? Removed.
✔ Budget for supplies? Kept under $25 💰

Now everything has a purpose and a home:
