The best recommendation doesn’t always come from the person with the biggest title. It comes from someone who knows you well and can speak to your growth, character, and potential.

Ask early. Give them time. Help them tell your story.

College application season begins in just 4 days, and for many students and families, that means it’s time to start making important decisions.

Every year, I work with students, families, schools, and organizations to make the college admissions process more approachable, strategic, and less overwhelming. Whether it’s one-on-one coaching, family workshops, or professional development for school staff, my goal is to help people navigate the process with clarity and confidence.

I’m currently accepting new students for the upcoming admissions cycle and am also scheduling partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations interested in hosting college access workshops in English or Spanish.

The way adults respond during difficult moments can completely shape a young person’s camp experience.

Grateful for the opportunity to partner with the YMCA Association Camp staff at Camp Greenville for a De-escalation & Communication Training ahead of the summer season. Together, we explored practical strategies around camper behavior, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and much more.

A huge thank you to Julie Hollister for the partnership, trust, and collaboration throughout this experience. The care and commitment this team brings to young people is truly inspiring.

Excited to see the impact these staff members will continue to make this summer.
