Red & Green Macaw (ara chloropterus) frame. I've been referring to these pieces as my "dimensional feather mosaics." The 3D taxidermy bust portion flows into (or rather, emerges from) a flat feather mosaic. Each individual feather is laid by hand. This was a private custom memorial (NFS). I created the original custom cast head, sculpted and painted the facial details. The frame is 16" x 20".

Red, gold & green 🤎✨️💚

A strikingly beautiful panther chameleon finished and sent home recently for a client!

Is this song perfect or what? You bet it was stuck in my head while I was painting this little guy!

The Heritage Bantam Series ✨

Every specimen was ethically sourced via donations from keepers across Georgia, South Carolina, and beyond after passing of natural causes. Each one is mounted on a hand-finished, velvet-lined wooden plinth and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Fresh from its exhibition at the Lyndon House Arts Center (Selected by Michelle Yun Mapplethorpe), I am thrilled to officially release "Aurum and Cinnabar" to the public!

This piece incorporates classical preservation into avant-garde fine art… The bird's 3D taxidermy head/bust portion emerges from a 2D feather mosaic. Every single feather was hand-placed to create a textured mosaic that captures the fluid, fiery movement of the golden pheasant.

"Aurum and Cinnabar" is now available for acquisition directly through my studio website (linked in the usual place!). Payment plans are available at checkout via Klarna, or you can contact me directly for a custom, flexible installment plan.

Complimentary, fully insured crated shipping is included within the US, and local Atlanta area pickup can be arranged.

For the past decade, much of my work was created from a place of endurance. I am entering this year operating at my highest capacity. I'm dedicated to honoring life with more intention and rigor than ever before.

This cuckoo Polish bantam is part of the Heritage Bantam Series, my first release under this new, slower rhythm.

These chameleons have joined a long-time client’s private collection (they have truly impeccable taste).

The veiled chameleon is a massive specimen - the largest I’ve had the privilege to work with, about 10" in length. Beside it, a vibrant little Jackson’s chameleon, preserved with an excited open-mouth expression.

Chameleons lose their colors during the preservation process, so the color must be restored. Both feature an extensive, hand-painted finish to capture the nuance of their life colors. While chameleons are one of the very few non-avian subjects I work with, they were a joy to bring to life.

I’ve decided to step back from the digital noise to better serve my craft. To maintain the focus and intentionality my work requires, I am shifting my primary connection with you to my private correspondence list.

While I will still share finished works here occasionally, this platform is no longer my primary space. It's time for me to reclaim a slower rhythm that prioritizes the deep presence required in my work.
