I'm delighted to have been invited to speak at a community group meeting about organizing strategies for women with ADHD next Wednesday evening! 📅️ It's an area I've been studying and developing resources around - so if you're within driving distance of Warwick, consider swinging by. This was a fun job, supporting this family that is blended in more than one way! He is tidy, she is more of a free spirit. Hiring Village & Nest was their solution, and it’s working out so well we are slowly making our way through the whole house!

🌷 Spring cleaning is in the air… and garage season is officially here.

Before summer hits and your garage turns into a full-on sauna, now is the perfect time to clear it out and get it working for you again.

Quick note: not all organizers take on garages… but at Village & Nest, we do. 💪
(We just won’t do them once the temps climb too high — for everyone’s sanity 🥵.)

If your garage has been on the “we gotta deal with that” list, consider this your nudge. A little effort now makes the whole season a lot easier.

So many homes have a multifunctional (or nonfunctional) space that starts with a lot of potential, but over time becomes the default storage area, like the room version of a junk drawer.

In a half day’s work this client & I tackled her mudroom / office, which had been collecting random items for years — she purged & redistributed, and I set up functional zones & better utilized the cupboard space…

⭐️Pro Tip: if you can identify certain annoyances that are preventing you from better using a space (ie. Cupboards need k***s, stepstool is too cumbersome, etc) then tackle those too, if you can! Make those hard to reach spots easier to access & worlds of possibilities open up.
