Here's a poem about redbud and dandelion jelly in the spring:

As spring's warm breeze begins to blow,
The redbud trees start to glow,
Their pinkish-purple flowers unfold,
A colorful tapestry to behold.

Meanwhile, in fields and lawns so bright,
Dandelions bloom with sunny light,
Their golden petals shining bold,
A sweet and tangy treasure to hold.

The jelly maker's skillful hand,
Transforms the dandelions' bitter stand,
Into a sweet and tangy delight,
A springtime treat that's pure and bright.

So let us marvel at the redbud's hue,
And savor dandelion jelly anew,
For in the spring, when all is new,
These wonders wait, for me and you.

My heart is filled with joy today as a friend's husband, who is undergoing radiation therapy, found solace in the strawberry jam I made, which still tastes delicious to him despite his loss of appetite.
