He's right! Having a logo for your business that reaches your prospective clients is crucial... and a very good one will do a lot of your marketing for you (money well spent). One of my favorite jobs is to sit down with my client and discuss in detail their company (or other need for a logo). Then, with them, I work on concepts and sketches, chipping things down until we have the perfect logo to speak for them and for the company what they are about.
