COME ON OUT ! This weekend at Mountain Springs Campground ~ 3450 Mountain Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526 we will be there and donating a basket to Camp4Hope! At Camp4Hope, their mission is to bring strength, comfort, and joy to children facing serious illness. This weekend long event has flash tattoos done by Gileon Elizabeth Scholl , a basket raffle, food trucks, dunk tanks, and so much more! Come out for a fun day filled with memories, a chance to win a euro mount by me, and supporting a nonprofit!

Always something fun going on at ! Fun fact for Friday; ring necked pheasants aren't native to PA at all and were introduced in the 1880s in Oregon first with the private sale and trade of these Asian natives expanding across the states, the PA game commission started stocking them by 1915!

Pennsylvania hunters, you’re going to want to save this post!

The 2026-27 Pennsylvania hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits are now finalized, which means the new license year is right around the corner!

Here are some highlights:

Migratory game bird hunting seasons will NOT include Sunday hunting opportunities.

Sunday hunting is now included within all other season dates as listed. Seasons that previously ended on Saturday, for the most part will now end on Sunday.

Small game seasons including squirrel, rabbit, and pheasant will now run continuous seasons from opening dates through February 28, 2027.

An additional October elk fi****ms season has been added (More info soon to follow).
