Stop wasting your money on bed bug covers if you already have bed bugs.
This is one of the biggest myths I hear.
A mattress encasement is NOT a treatment.
If you already have an active infestation, putting a cover on your mattress doesn’t magically make the bed bugs disappear. They don’t just live in your mattress. They’re hiding in your bed frame, headboard, nightstands, baseboards, outlets, couches, and dozens of other cracks and crevices throughout your home.
A bed bug cover has one job:
✅ Trap any bugs already inside the mattress.
✅ Protect the mattress from becoming infested again.
That’s it.
It does nothing for the thousands of bed bugs that are still living everywhere else.
If you’re relying on a mattress cover to solve an active infestation, you’re giving those bugs more time to multiply.
Treat the infestation first. Then use an encasement as part of your prevention plan—not as the solution.
🚨 If you know someone battling bed bugs, share this with them. It could save them hundreds of dollars and months of frustration.
