❤️ One Year of VeVa ❤️
On October 3rd, 2025, we took a chance on an idea we had been thinking about for quite some time.
Today, October 3rd, 2026, VeVa turns ONE. 🎂
Before VeVa started, we had all the questions anyone has before starting something of their own. Should we do this? Will people trust us? Will anyone even order?
At some point, we realized we could keep thinking about it forever.
So... we just started.
Small. From home. With a lot of hope, a lot to learn, and absolutely no idea where this journey would take us.
Those first few months were hard.
We walked into businesses, introduced ourselves, handed out flyers and followed up again and again.
And for a long time... there were zero orders.
Not a slow start. Not a few here and there. Zero.
We'd check our messages, hoping. Nothing.
We'd follow up one more time. Nothing.
Meanwhile, the subscriptions and tools still had to be paid for every month, whether anyone ordered or not.
Some days it was hard not to feel discouraged. There were quiet moments when we honestly wondered if we had made a mistake, and whether this little idea of ours would ever work.
But somewhere inside, we kept holding on to one thought:
Give it some time. Keep going.
And slowly, things started changing.
An order came in. Then another. Someone came back. Someone recommended us. Someone asked for something we'd never done before, and instead of saying "We don't do that," we started saying:
"Let us see what we can do."
By January, we could feel it. People were coming back and remembering the VeVa name. The question in our minds changed from "Is this actually going to work?" to "How far can we take this?"
If this first year has taught us anything, it's this:
Sometimes all a small business needs is one person to believe in it before everyone else does.
And somehow, we were fortunate enough to find those people. ❤️
Sun and Moon Natural Skincare , you gave us our very first order. To someone else, it may have simply been an order. To us, it was a ray of hope, that feeling of "Okay... maybe we can actually do this." There will hopefully be thousands of orders in VeVa's journey, but there can only ever be one first order. And that will always be yours. ❤️
James Kelly Sun Coast General Property Services LLC , your continued trust helped us realize we weren't just getting lucky. Over time, VeVa became your go-to print store. But what you may not realize is that while we were earning your trust, you were helping us build trust in ourselves. Thank you. ❤️
LMW E-Sensually You LLC, when we offered you a discount, you told us no. Your reason was simple: we're women-owned businesses, and we need to support one another. Sometimes supporting a small business isn't about the lowest price. It's one person saying, "I see what you're building, and I want to support it." That meant more to us than you probably realized. ❤️
Info-Matrix Corporation and everyone at IMC, what started as one project grew into you trusting VeVa again and again. Cindi, a special thank you to you. When an established organization trusts a small business with its name, it gives that business another reason to believe it belongs at the table. ❤️
The Yemeni Bean, you taught us that trust doesn't have to be local. You were all the way in Texas, preparing to open your first café, and you still chose a small business in Pennsylvania to be part of that milestone. You were starting something new too, and we're so grateful to have been a small part of your beginning. ❤️
oNest Real Estate, you gave us the chance to prove that a small business could handle big projects. Working with you pushed us to think bigger, and helped us realize that being a small business doesn't mean we can only do small things. ❤️
Sweet Cordelia’s Cake and Bake Shoppe, when we first reached out, you didn't think twice about us being a newer business. You simply gave us an opportunity. There's always something extra special about working with another local business owner who understands the late nights and the heart that goes into building something of your own. ❤️
And then there are Micheal and Silvana at Chocolena
Honestly... where do we even begin?
So many of VeVa's "firsts" lead back to Chocolena. You trusted us with one project, then another, and another. Every time you asked, "Can you guys do this?", you pushed us to learn, figure it out and grow into things that would have sounded impossible during those quiet first months.
But Michael, calling you a customer doesn't feel right anymore. You've become more like a big brother to VeVa. You guide us, challenge us and trust us to figure things out, and no matter how many questions we walk in with, we're always welcomed with the same warm "Hi!" and a smile.
You once told us you wanted to see local guys like us grow. That stayed with us, because you weren't just looking for someone to fulfill an order. You genuinely wanted to see us succeed.
Michael and Silvana, thank you for trusting VeVa over and over again. Whatever VeVa grows into, there will always be a little bit of Chocolena in the story of how we got there. ❤️

You didn't just support us by saying "good luck." You supported us by trusting us with things that mattered to you. We'll always be grateful. ❤️
And these are only some of the people whose stories became part of ours this year.
There are so many more of you who supported us, trusted us and cheered us on. If we didn't name you here, please know it's not because your support mattered any less. One post simply isn't enough to tell every story.
And if we've missed anyone, we're truly sorry. Every single one of you is part of VeVa's first year, and we're grateful for each of you. ❤️
This year wasn't perfect. There were expensive lessons 😅, stressful deadlines and designs that went through version after version. But somehow, we figured it out, and every difficult order made the next one a little easier.
Today, when we see something we made out in the world, carrying someone's name, being handed to someone's customer, or sitting inside another business, there's a quiet pride that's hard to explain.
Because we know where it started.
And maybe the biggest compliment we've received this year isn't a five-star review or a big order. It's when someone comes back and says:
"I need something else. Let me call VeVa."
One year later, we're still small, still home-grown and still learning. The projects may be getting bigger, but we never want to lose the mentality that got us through those first quiet months:
Take care of people.
Do work we're proud to put our name behind.
Keep improving.
And never become too big to appreciate a single order.
Because we remember what it felt like waiting for one. ❤️

You came back. You referred friends. You trusted us with your businesses and your special moments. And sometimes, you believed in VeVa when we were still learning how to believe in it ourselves.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like customers.
You became part of our VeVa family.
You didn't just buy from a small business.
You helped build one. ❤️
