Unarmed Security for Part-Time and Seasonal Events

Mature, responsible, and reliable part time security guards needed to cover security check points at events. Active Unarmed Guard License preferred with Dallas Law Certifications attached. If you do not have a license or Dallas Law certifications (CPR/AED/First Aid, De-Escalation Tactics, and Safe Restraint Techniques), Zirkops Training,LLC can train you. All certifications are required for working events, so training will need to be prompt.

Event responsibilities include bag checking, metal detectors, and wand scanners. These events are generally through the weekend. Flexibility for getting scheduled to events is needed. Reliable transportation (uber or car sharing is frowned upon) and active driver’s license is required.

Various event posts are in the Downtown Chattanooga area and another venue in Pelham, TN. We are currently in a very busy season and need lots of help. We also have a Car Festival mid October we will need lots of help with (seasonal only).

You are required to always maintain a professional attitude with professional standards and appearance while on duty. Uniformed officers should report to duty on time, clean and well groomed, and dressed neatly in only the authorized/issued uniform and wear the uniform as issued at all times while on duty. Your appearance should be appropriate for the work environment. This includes hair, facial hair, jewelry, tattoos, body art, religious objects, etc.

Personal cell phone use is to be very limited and should not distract from duties. Being alert, vigilant, and caring about how others perceive you is an important part of this job and the authority that comes with the position. Our clients and their patrons need to know we are there to help them and deter issues that could arise.

You need reliable transportation with a valid/active driver's license. Uber and car sharing is frowned upon.

We want people who will do the right thing even if no one is watching.

ARMED SECURITY GUARDS NEEDED

Full-time and part-time positions (with potential to go full-time) available. Must already have an armed security license and a minimum of 6 months of experience in security work and have their own weapon with Level 3 Duty holster and duty belt.

Armed officers are required to obtain all certifications listed. Training is available through the company if hired: O.C. (Level 1 exposure), C.E.W. (Level 1 exposure), Tactical Handcuffing and Search, Basic Expandable Baton, De-Escalation Tactics, Safe Restraint Techniques, First Aid, CPR, AED, Active Shooter, Building Clearing, Intermediate and Advanced Handgun, and any other training that becomes necessary.

Post locations vary and our officers are required to be flexible with being cross trained for different fixed posts and events. We have limited 1st shift and there are 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Weekend shifts are available.

There is a required drug test and potential background check.

Posts require walking (includes stairs), scanning QR codes, writing clear and detailed reports in the patrol app, working on a computer while checking employees in, and answering phones, monitoring cameras, and checking in contractors and visitors.

These posts require you to be alert and vigilant while on duty and being a team player is of utmost importance.

Must show up for work clean and neatly dressed in the authorized/issued uniform and always wear full complete uniform while on duty. Nothing more and nothing less. We prefer officers who care about their appearance, their attitude, and how others perceive them on the job.

Appearance must be appropriate for the work environment. This includes hair, facial hair, tattoos, body art, jewelry, religious objects, etc.

The officer is expected to always conduct themselves in a professional manner with a professional attitude with the ability to de-escalate situations that come up. We are looking for those who will do the right thing even when no one is looking (integrity).

Personal cell phone use should be very limited and should not distract you from your duties. Reliable transportation, no uber or car sharing, and an active driver’s license is required.
