Gran Fondo National Series has built a reputation on fun courses, fair competition, and a party at the finish. Riders choose from Gran, Medio, or Piccolo distances, and instead of racing the clock start to finish, only select segments are timed. That means you can regroup with your crew, stop at aid stations, and still podium.

The 2026 season wraps with Gran Fondo Maryland and the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships in Frederick on September 20. The 2027 calendar kicks off in March and runs through Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, and back to Maryland, with Asheville hosting next year’s Nationals.

Bike Pittsburgh takes over Pittsburgh on Sunday, August 30. Choose from a 10-mile family-friendly loop, a 25-mile tour through the Strip District and Schenley Park, or the 53-mile Endurance Challenge for riders chasing Pittsburgh’s toughest climbs. Every route finishes at Allegheny Commons Park for food, music, and beer at the Finish Line Festival.

Upcoming Event: Hotter’N Hell Hundred

Hotter'N Hell 100 Since 1982, riders have lined up in Wichita Falls for one of the biggest single-day rides in the country. This year’s weekend runs August 27-30, with the main ride on Saturday, August 29. Rest stops every 5 miles keep you fueled with cold water, pickle juice, and local hospitality. Hit Hell’s Gate at mile 60 before the cutoff and you’ve earned the toughest final stretch of the day.

Event Recap: Women’s MTB Summer Camp at Mohican delivered. Two days of camp, clinics, and coaching at Camp Nuhop, followed by racing on Mohican’s trails to wrap it up. Kudos to NOMBS for creating a space to pick up new skills and push your riding with a crew of riders on the same journey.

NorthernOhioMBS grassroots series are created by riders, for riders, and the proceeds fund youth cycling and local trails across Northern Ohio.
