Disney Skyliner update for 2028!

The Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine refurbishment from January 24 through February 2, 2028, with service expected to return February 3.

The closure includes every Skyliner route serving:

• EPCOT
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios
• Pop Century Resort
• Art of Animation Resort
• Caribbean Beach Resort
• Riviera Resort

Disney will provide complimentary bus service between the affected resorts and parks.

Since the Skyliner is one of the main reasons many guests choose these resorts, travelers visiting during the closure may want to compare other resort and transportation options before booking.

Flying into Seattle? ✈️

Your seat choice could come with an incredible view!

Choosing a window seat on the left side of the plane can give you a better chance of seeing Mount Rainier as you arrive.

Standing 14,410 feet tall, this active volcano is the tallest peak in the Cascade Range.

The view depends on the weather and flight path, so it is not guaranteed. If the mountain is visible, it is an unforgettable welcome to the Pacific Northwest.

These are the little travel details Woodmark Travel can help you plan.

✈️ Thinking About 2027? These Destinations Are Already Trending.

It may seem early, but many travelers are already planning their 2027 vacations—and these destinations are getting a lot of attention. Early planners often get the best availability and the most options.

🌸 Japan
From Tokyo and Kyoto to cherry blossom season and cultural experiences, Japan continues to top travelers' bucket lists and is seeing increased demand for both land vacations and cruises.

🏔️ The Dolomites, Italy
Beautiful mountain scenery, cooler summer temperatures, and incredible hiking are making this part of Italy one of Europe's hottest destinations.

❄️ Norway
Think dramatic fjords, Northern Lights, and breathtaking coastal scenery. Travelers looking for nature and fewer crowds are putting Norway high on their lists.

🏝️ Grenada
This laid-back Caribbean island is gaining popularity for its uncrowded beaches, rainforests, and authentic island feel.

FAQ Friday

When should you book your cruise?

The short answer: earlier than you think.

For most cruises, booking early gives you the best selection and often the best value.

• Caribbean & Bahamas: 6-12 months in advance
• Alaska: 9-15 months in advance
• Holiday sailings and Spring Break: 12-18 months in advance
• Europe and bucket-list itineraries: 12-18 months in advance

Why book early?

✔️ More cabin choices, especially balconies and family rooms
✔️ Access to the best promotions when they're available
✔️ More time to make payments
✔️ Better chances of getting the dining times and excursions you want

One of the biggest misconceptions is that waiting will get you a better deal. More often, the most popular sailings and cabin categories sell out first, and prices can increase as the ship fills.

Thinking about your next cruise? It's never too early to start the conversation.
