Setting a boundary may feel uncomfortable, especially when you’re used to being the person who always says yes. Some people will be disappointed when your time and energy are no longer available on demand. That doesn’t mean you’ve done something wrong.

You can care about people and still be clear about what you can give. The people who value you will learn to respect that. 🤎

Not every critique deserves a seat at your decision-making table.

Constructive criticism gives you something you can use (clarity, direction, or an opportunity to grow). Projection often gives you someone else’s fears, doubts, and limitations disguised as advice.

Learn to listen without absorbing everything you hear. Discernment is part of growth. 🌱

The comfortable place has a way of convincing you to stay a little longer. You know what to expect there. You’ve learned how to make it work.

Do you consider yourself a subject matter expert (SME) in your field? If so, what is your field, and what experiences helped you earn that distinction?

If you do not consider yourself an expert yet, what knowledge, experience, credentials, or accomplishments do you believe you still need to reach that level?

Expertise is not always defined by a title or degree. It can also be developed through years of experience, continuous learning, demonstrated results, and the ability to help others understand and navigate a particular area.
