PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
POSSIBLE TROPICAL WEATHER โ PREPAREDNESS NOTICE
Attention all PASS Security employees operating in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia and their communities:
PASS Security is closely monitoring a developing tropical weather system in the Gulf. Early forecasts indicate that the system could strengthen and potentially affect portions of the Gulf Coast and southeastern United States. Possible hazards include heavy rainfall, flash flooding, damaging winds, power outages, hazardous road conditions, and disruptions to scheduled operations.
Although some forecasts have discussed the possibility of the system reaching hurricane strength, its exact intensity, path, and landfall location remain subject to change. All personnel must begin making reasonable preparations now.
Effective immediately:
- Monitor official updates from the National Hurricane Center, National Weather Service, and local emergency-management agencies.
- Keep your cellphone fully charged and remain accessible to your supervisor.
- Maintain sufficient fuel in your personal vehicle and any assigned company vehicle.
- Secure uniforms, duty equipment, medications, identification, and other essential supplies.
- Do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways or enter an area declared unsafe by public authorities.
- Notify your immediate supervisor as soon as possible if evacuation orders, road closures, flooding, property damage, or other emergency conditions may prevent you from reporting to duty.
- Site supervisors and platoon leaders must maintain contact with assigned personnel and immediately report staffing or operational concerns through the chain of command.
- Employees should not abandon an assigned post without authorization unless remaining at the location presents an immediate threat to life or safety.
- Follow all lawful evacuation orders and emergency instructions issued by state and local authorities.
Employee safety remains a priority. However, communication and accountability are essential during severe weather. Do not wait until the storm arrives to begin preparing.
Additional instructions regarding schedules, site closures, emergency assignments, and company vehicles will be issued as updated and verified information becomes available.
Stay alert, remain prepared, and take this potential threat seriously.
