He’s right. Oysters are an absolutely delicacy and we love every moment of growing them.

Sometimes it makes more sense to move the whole cage as one.

Our AquaFlow system is designed to work together, allowing multiple oyster bags to be handled as one integrated unit.

Less individual handling, a more streamlined process, and a system designed with the everyday realities of farming in mind 🦪

Not a bad place to call the office 🦪 Fresh air, hard work and some pretty incredible views.

Who else would rather be out here? 👀

No two oyster farms work exactly the same 🦪

That’s why before talking equipment, we like to understand your farm, what you’re growing, your conditions, how you work and what you’re hoping to achieve.

From there, we can start exploring what might actually make sense for you.

It’s your farm first.

Not every oyster farm starts the same way 🦪

How does your farm source its spat? 👇

Some growers collect spat through natural settlement, while others begin with juvenile oysters produced in a hatchery.

That starting point matters. Stick source and size ca influence how juvenile oysters are collected, retained and managed through the early stages of production.

It’s one of the reasons understanding your stock comes before choosing the equipment around it.

Not every oyster farm starts with the same kind of spat 🦪

Some oyster growers collect spat through natural settlement, while others begin with juvenile oysters produced in a hatchery.

That starting point matters. The source and size of your spat can influence how your stock is retained, the early stages of your production pathway, and the equipment needed to manage it.

Understanding where your stock starts is an important part of planning what comes next.

So what do you prefer? Natural or hatchery?

Equipment limits and working conditions tell us two different things.

One is about what the system is designed to withstand. The other is about the conditions, crews, and vessels are operating in.

Both of which are influenced by everything from wind and waves to access, visibility and vessel capacity.

Understanding both, gives us a much clearer picture when we help you to plan your oyster farm.

Same farm. Same conditions. Two different consideration.
