August ends today—and there's one month left in Q3.

For organizations investing heavily in AI, September matters.

BCG AI Radar 2026 reports that only 6% of companies would pull back on AI investment if their current initiatives don't deliver returns this year.

That means 94% intend to stay the course.

But continued investment alone doesn't create value.

The next month is an opportunity to focus on ex*****on: finish what matters, address what's slowing progress, and enter Q4 with clearer evidence of what is—and isn't—working.

September doesn't need more AI initiatives.

It needs progress on the ones that already matter.

Different industries. Different challenges. One thing in common: leaders came back ready to move.

From enterprise AI and spatial computing to life sciences and robotics, SVEA's recent immersions have brought leadership teams into Silicon Valley to explore the technologies and ideas directly affecting their businesses.

But we believe the experience itself is only half the story.

What matters is what happens afterward.

That's why our recent immersions are documented as case studies—showing the challenge each group brought with them, what they experienced, and the outcomes that followed.

Executive education is easy to promise.

Results are more meaningful.

If someone in your company wanted to buy a new AI tool tomorrow, who would need to approve it?

The answer should be simple.

Yet the Open Future Forum Enterprise AI Buying and Budget Index found that while CEOs are increasingly being named as AI purchasing decision-makers, 14% of respondents reported having no single owner at all.

That's more than a procurement issue.

When ownership is unclear, accountability can become unclear too.

As organizations increase their AI investments, defining who can approve, evaluate, and ultimately own those decisions needs to be part of the governance conversation.

How much time should a CEO personally spend learning AI?

BCG's answer offers an interesting benchmark: at least eight hours a week.

Its AI Radar 2026 found that CEOs investing that time in building their own AI capabilities are more likely to generate meaningful value from the technology.

The takeaway isn't that CEOs need to become AI engineers.

It's that AI has become too important to understand only through someone else's presentation.

Delegate the implementation. Build the teams. Hire the experts.

But don't delegate your own understanding.

A moment we couldn't cut from this week's episode of Decisions at the Frontier 🎙️

Christopher Radich, VP & Public Sector CTO at , on why real transformation means evolving from a place of strength — not fear — and what companies like Kodak got wrong when the ground shifted under them.

It's a short clip, but it says a lot about how leaders should think about disruption before the market forces the decision.

You can study innovation from a distance. Or you can experience it where it's happening.

Silicon Valley continues to set the pace for AI, advanced computing, autonomous systems, and entirely new business models.

The SVEA Silicon Valley Advantage is designed to bring senior leaders closer to that ecosystem through curated exposure to organizations such as NVIDIA, Google, Tesla, and OpenAI.

But the value isn't simply seeing these companies.

It's understanding how they think, how quickly they move, and how they turn emerging technology into strategic advantage.

Because a week immersed in the world's leading innovation ecosystem can challenge assumptions that years of presentations never will.

See innovation up close.
Bring a different perspective back to your organization.

AI has moved from the innovation agenda to the risk register.

And that may be one of the most important shifts for executive teams in 2026.

According to The Conference Board's 2026 C-Suite Outlook Survey, 38% of U.S. CEOs identify AI as a leading factor that could negatively affect their business this year.

At the same time, investment continues to accelerate.

That's not a contradiction.

It's a sign of maturity.

The more AI becomes embedded in decisions, workflows, customer experiences, and operations, the greater the consequences when governance fails to keep pace.

For CEOs and boards, AI opportunity and AI risk are now the same conversation.

The question is no longer simply:

"How fast can we adopt AI?"

It's also:

"How confidently can we govern what we're scaling?"

You can read about Silicon Valley. Or you can experience how it thinks.

There is a difference between understanding AI strategy from a report and seeing how leading innovators approach it firsthand.

SVEA's Silicon Valley Executive Immersion Programs bring senior leaders closer to the people, ideas, and environments shaping the next era of technology.

Through curated exposure to organizations across the Silicon Valley ecosystem—including companies such as Google and NVIDIA and institutions such as Stanford—executives gain perspectives that are difficult to replicate in a classroom.

The goal isn't to collect more information.

It's to return with better questions, sharper decisions, and a different benchmark for what's possible.

Because sometimes the fastest way to rethink your strategy is to step outside the environment where it was created.

Six weeks left in Q3.

At this point, the priority isn't adding more initiatives.

It's turning the right ones into results.

AI is a clear example.

According to Deloitte CFO Signals and Bain's 2026 Finance Leaders Survey, 87% of large-company CFOs see AI as highly important to finance operations, while 83% plan to increase enterprise AI investment by more than 15% over the next two years.

The conversation has shifted.

For many organizations, the question is no longer whether AI deserves investment.

It's whether that investment is producing measurable business value.

The remaining weeks of the quarter are an opportunity to narrow the focus: strengthen ex*****on, remove bottlenecks, and turn strategic commitments into outcomes.

Don't finish Q3 with more activity. Finish it with evidence of progress.
