When married to a Puerto Rican, these are some of the things you get up to on the weekend. My own coquito cheesecake-rum, coconut, cinnamon with a butter rum glaze and fresh Chantilly. Pernil and arroz con gandules for the main.

Send me a message for availability and pricing (my pricing includes ingredients). If you choose to do pernil, it is going to be about four hours, due to cook time. Chicken will be less time.

Good morning, everyone! Come get your fresh baked pumpkin streusel muffins and rum cake while it lasts! I’ve made a tough decision to step away from the booth. The girls will still be here with all of their beautiful wares, but I am going to be stepping back to focus on customer orders and statewide events. I am still offering my full menu and am always happy to help!

Merry Christmas to all of my friends, followers and sweet customers! We are doing one of my favorite Christmas traditions- taking fresh baked cookies to our local fire station. I’ve done this for so many years, and it’s just a small token of thanks for all that they do for our community! God bless you all.

The elves were busy last night, and by elves, I mean me. I’m the only elf. Come get a treat sampler today- they are all unique, but have two cookies (sugar, gingerbread or chocolate chip), a chocolate covered sandwich cookie in white chocolate and dark chocolate, and chocolate covered pretzels. Each box is only $6! I’ll also have my (getting) famous chocolate chip cream cheese cookies for $1 per cookie or 6 for $5.
Also, my mini pies are so stinking cute I can’t stand it. These are heavier than and filled with a lot of love, and are only $4 each. I have apple and cherry.
Christmas is next week and we have some gorgeous new jewelry, handmade dream catchers (the creator harvests everything herself), some gorgeous original artwork, and prints, and the most gorgeous hand decorated ornaments you’ve ever seen! Come get your last minute gifts!

We are also open Christmas Eve-get those orders in so you aren’t showing up empty handed at your family festivities!

In looking for additional workspace for my kitchen, I came across this! It’s adjustable, but, sorry, men. You can’t take it to full height unless you’re a husband. Women and kids have no such restrictions apparently.

Also, sorry I didn’t take more product today to the Barn. I’m feeling run down, and there’s a little something going around. I sold out yesterday, and out of an abundance of caution, I do not ever take any chances with my products, and while I’m praying for allergies, I am erring on the side of caution.
Angela is there with all of the other pretties, though, including some new artwork starting at only $15!

Some days everything goes as planned, and some days your blueberry tunrovers explode, your ganache won’t whip so your chocolate buttermilk cupcakes are sitting around lonely, naked and not able to be filled with love and your 10 year old will not listen to a word you so to get out the mother freaking door on time. Then you realize, the chocolate ermine and strawberry cake that was ordered three weeks ago is gorgeous, your basket of what you can take to your booth is filled with orders for amazing customers, your sixteen year old loves you enough to jump in and fill frosting bags in exchange for an exploded turnover, and everything happens for a reason. God above is good, stuff happens and it’s not always on us to know the reason for the madness. We are blessed, we are loved and I still have product to sell. The cupcakes and mini pies will be available tomorrow to sell. But if you live in my neighborhood, please watch for flying ganache.
