The question we get asked the most is: What brand of appliance should we choose?

While no appliance lasts as long as they used to, generally speaking, we feel Whirlpool is a safe bet. That doesn't mean it will never break down, but that's the brand we lean toward more than others.

If you are having an appliance issue, and want to keep it going, just send us a text or call.

Have a good day! 🙂

Be careful where you plug that space heater into.

Heating elements in a space heater can get up to more than 500°F to 600°F, firefighters say.

Now's a good time to check your dryer vent before it gets too miserable outside. Simply turn the dryer on when empty and go outside where it vents. Check for proper air flow, it should feel similar to a car vent when the fan is on high.

If you don't feel any air or just a small amount, you probably have a blockage somewhere, which causes premature wear to the heating element and moving parts, and is dangerous. There are over 15,000 dryer fires every year, make sure your vent is clear. Feel free to call us if you need any help. 740-348-5025

There are still some detergents for sale that are not h.e.(high efficiency). So if you have a newer washer or you are buying one, make sure you are using the appropriate detergent.

Using standard detergent with a h.e. washer will result in clothes with a large amount of soap residue on them, and the washer will quickly build up detergent residue in critical areas causing error codes.

With winter approaching, now is a good time to check your dryer vent. Simply turn the dryer on when empty, and go outside where it exits your house and check for airflow coming out.

As long as you can feel a fair amount of air, it's in good shape. If you can't, and it seems to take a long time to dry clothes, you may have a problem. If you need any help we're here for you.
