I'm incredibly honored to share this post with you. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to create these product images for Twisted X- Chukka Driving Moccasin (Style ). This particular shoe is designed with "cloud-like comfort" through their patent-pending CellStretch technology. Yesterday I shared the Fisher Space Pen Exhibit currently on display inside the Apollo / Saturn V Center at the Kennedy Space Center. Today I’m sharing the timeline video I created as part of that experience. It’s a mix of historical photos, videos, descriptions, and dates that spans 1948 - 2018.

Isn’t it amazing how far we’ve come as a country? The science and technology that went into developing the AG7 Astronaut Space Pen took the same drive, determination, and innovation that allowed Armstrong and Aldrin to walk on the moon 50 years ago - today. An incredible achievement by any standards.

Nothing is outside our grasp if we work together to achieve a common goal.

Today is an exciting day for me. Tomorrow marks the day Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped foot on the moon. 50 years ago, America won the Space Race. And 50 years ago, Fisher Space Pen was right there with them – they’ve been there all along.


In May of 2016 Fisher Space Pen was approached by the Kennedy Space Center. They wanted to build a permeant Fisher Space Pen exhibit inside their Apollo / Saturn V Center. For the past 3 years, we’ve collaborated with the amazing folks at Delaware North (Kennedy Space Center) and Design Works.


These are the graphic and structural designs we developed along with images of the completed exhibit currently on display. The 10 ft tall AG7 Astronaut Space Pen was fabricated 15-20 years ago for a tradeshow in Europe. For years it stood in the corner of the company’s manufacturing facility. During a plant tour, the Vice President of New Business Development for Kennedy Space Center, suggested we include it as part of the display. Fast forward and it’s now the focal point of the exhibit – suspended 30’ in the air, writing upside-down on a larger than life replica of the Apollo 11 logbook.


I’ve created many spaces over the years, but nothing comes close to this memorial. It’s been a true honor and privilege to work with so many amazing people. A special thanks go out to Darlene and Michael for your impeccable attention to detail and thoughtfulness.


Finally, thank you Cary and Matt. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your legacy. I hope that those who visit this space from years to come will recognize how truly special your staff and family are. You’re the best!
